The one time I photographed DICK DUCK and the DORKS playing, was pick up hockey on my porch at 67 Elm St. The guys who (6 months later) formed the DORKS were my neighbours on Elm St.. I also knew them from The Edge, where many of the Dorks worked. Only two of these guys were in the band. (L-R) Paul Ekness, the lead singer and one of the cutest guys in Toronto, and center- Peter Dixon, who passed away in 1992. The guy on the far right is a friend of Paul's, Greg Bent.
Excerpt from an anonymous email I received:
...the guy sitting on fridge is Greg Bent. He wasn't in the Dorks but was a schoolpal of Paul's, whose greatest claim to punk fame was when Steve Leckie of Viletones was on stage at Horsehoe yelled some submoronic statement like, "Can't a guy get a fuckin beer in this place!" Greg pissed in a glass+ put it on stage, Steve drank it+ just spit it out+ said the beer sucks here.
